Acai Bowl

We get it, you've probably seen acai bowl recipes galore. But, Karissa was nice enough to share this really awesome recipe with us! For those who make acai bowls at home, there are a few cool tips to take your bowls to the next level and incorporate ingredients to make your bowl more substantiative. Ingredients:

  • 1 pack frozen acai
  • ½ frozen banana
  • 1/2 - 3/4 cup fresh fruit (usually mixed berries, but depends on what I have on hand – pineapple is awesome or I’ll use fresh banana)
  • 1/3 cup almond or coconut milk
  • 1 Tbsp hemp seeds (or any seed you like)
  • 1 Tbsp Planted

Toppings

  • Granola
  • Chia Seeds
  • Berries
  • Camu Powder
  • Hemp Seed Powder
  • Banana, sliced
  • Coconut Flakes

Instructions:

  1. Put all the main ingredients in a blender or until smooth.

  2. If too thick, add a little more almond or coconut milk

  3. Add your toppings and enjoy!
