Planted Protein Bites

Seeds are great to incorporate into your diet for healthy hormone production. They are loaded with healthy fats and minerals that nourish our bodies. I love including Plated protein in these bites for a delicious vanilla flavor and great source of protein. Enjoy these bites pre or post workout, as a mid-day pick me up, or even after dinner to curb a sweet tooth!

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup sunflower or pumpkin seeds
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1 tablespoon ground flax seeds
  • 2 scoops Planted protein powder
  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil
  • ½ tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon raw cacao powder (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon maca powder (option, but also great for hormones)
  • ½ teaspoon pink Himalayan salt

 

Instructions:

  • Grind all seeds in the the food processor.
  • Add protein powder, coconut oil, cinnamon, salt, maca, and raw cacao (if using).
  • You may need to add 1-2 tablespoons of water.
  • Adjust and process until dough sticks together.
  • Roll into 1 tablespoon sized balls.
  • For decoration, try rolling them in hemp seeds, shredded coconut, or extra cinnamon/ cacao.
